Source: grand prix result data is obtained from scoring a top-three finish, Alonso became only the third driver over 40 in the last 35 years to achieve the feat after Michael Schumacher at the 2012 European GP and Nigel Mansell in the 1994 Australian race. This is due to additional rules for certain seasons as to how many results can be attributed to the championship. Please note that in some cases, the overview does not always exactly match championship outcomes. A DNS (did not start) is not shown in the results.
